BIO > CAMERON GARDNER - CREATIVE DIRECTOR For the last twenty years, Cameron Gardner has proved to be a creative force in the art world. Starting out as a graphic designer and fine artist before entering college, Cameron Gardner has been working as a professional artist since age 16. From sign painting, poster design, tee shirt design, and illustrations, to graphic design, art direction, murals and fine art commission paintings. Upon Graduating with honors from SLCC, Cameron Gardner freelanced at various agencies in the Salt Lake City area. He also taught oil painting, watercolor and drawing classes at the prestigious Petersen Art Center founded by gifted teacher and outstanding fine artist Harold Petersen. After serving in many creative capacities from Art Director to Creative Director in various industries, Cameron Gardner was recruited as a Conceptual Designer at Euro RSCG DSW in 1996. In that position he was integral to the design of many high profile advertising campaigns including concepts for the famous Intel “Bunny People” print and TV commercials, Iomega print ads and many other well-known technology brands. Following his entrepreneurial spirit, Cameron Gardner moved on to become Creative Director for software startup emWare Corporation. Once there he was instrumental in building emWare’s global brand strategy and held that position through a successful buyout by Panasonic in 2005. Cameron Gardner then served as Concept Design Lead for Sensory Sweep Studios in Salt Lake City,at that time the largest independent game developer in the western United States. Finally after circumstance and fate took control, Cameron Gardner went on to become founder and Creative Director of HODGEGARDEN STUDIOS where he continues to collaborate with many high profile clients and directors on a multitude of projects within the entertainment and advertising industries.
